7 Easy Soup Recipes for Fall

7 Soups for Fall Recipe Roundup

This weekend felt like the first weekend of fall. We wore sweatshirts, played football,  we took a hayride through the fields, we gathered around a fire and ate s’mores. It was lovely.  As much as I love the summer, it’s nice to have a chill in the air and fun things of the season to look forward to.

One things I love about fall is SOUP.  It’s the official comfort food of the season.  And over on Land O’Moms I’m sharing 7 of my favorite easy soup recipes for fall.  Taco Soup, Corn Chowder, Broccoli Cheese Soup, White Chicken Chili, and more… Go check them out and get your soup on!

Happy Camper Chuck Wagon Beans

Chuck Wagon Beans Easy Recipe Camping

We recently camped with our neighbors at The Dunes State Park.

Beautiful scenery. Great friends. Good times. Sweet memories.

However, contrary to the belief, campers are not  “Happy Campersat every waking moment.  It sometimes takes an extra measure of patience when you’re away from home and in the elements for both kids and parents alike. Nevertheless, these Chuck Wagon Beans always bring us back to happy.  They are sweet and tangy, hearty, and just the dose of happy that every camper needs.

My mom {who’s extremely happy but not a camper} has been making these for years, and they are always a requested recipe.  It’s like a meal in a bowl. This recipe is great for cookouts and pitch-ins too – you can easily make it ahead of time and warm up over the fire or in a slow cooker.

What’s YOUR favorite campfire food?

Must-Haves for Soccer Moms

land o'moms april post soccer mom must-haves

Thanks to y’all we survived our first soccer game…in the 40 windy degree weather. That’s love right, Mamas?

It was fun(ny) and overall a positive start to the season, despite getting semi-stomped by the fierce offense of the Orange Tigers.  Seeing my boys rotate in at the same time one point in the game was a great mama moment.  They played well together and were so excited for each other’s successes.  {SCORE!!!!!}

I’ve recently been asked to join Land O’Frost on their LandOMoms.com site to help share tips on making mom’s lives easier.  I love when a brand actually offers practical resources for families – recipes, easy meal solutions, and a variety of topics that relate to parenting.

My first post is live today,  “Must-Haves for Soccer Moms”, which was inspired by many of your suggestions.  I hope you’ll check it and the Land O’Moms community!
