How to Turn Spaghetti Leftovers into Spaghetti Pie

There’s not very many comfort foods I love more than a warm plate of spaghetti.  My mom’s spaghetti sauce can take your mom’s any day of the week. It’s one of my favorite dishes on earth. And it’s one of those recipes she’s never written down, but made for decades. We ate spaghetti almost every week growing up, and now it’s one of my kids’ favorites too!

But sometimes the leftovers just don’t do it justice. I’m ready for a new twist – something that keeps the flavor, but makes it feel like a new meal. That’s why I love taking the leftovers and making it into Spaghetti Pie the next day with easy ingredients that I already have on hand. (You can also make this from the beginning by making spaghetti according to your regular recipe, and then following the following instructions.)

How to Cook the Best Steak of Your Life: 5 Minute {INCREDIBLE} Steak Marinade

We are blessed to have a freezer full of cow that we use weekly for burgers, roasts, etc.  We are also spoiled with a handful of sirloins, ribeyes, porterhouse, and T-bones steaks as part of our stash that we get to feast on frequently.  I have to say that this marinade makes the most INCREDIBLE steak – Life Changing.

The last time we had this for dinner, Brad and I just kept saying, “This is INCREDIBLE.” And it couldn’t be easier!  You just need a blender and a handful of ingredients you probably already have on hand!

Try it and let me know if it changes your life too!  What’s YOUR favorite cut of steak?

30 Minute Baked Potato Soup

30 minute baked potato soup recipe

Don’t you love recipes that you can whip up in a hurry, yet taste like they’ve been cooking all day? I’m a huge fan of those and an even bigger fan of using leftovers for an entirely different meal.  The day before I made a roast with baked potatoes in the crock pot.  {You know how easy it is to make baked potatoes in the crock pot, right???} And since I filled the crock pot with potatoes, I had a handful left over, which was perfect for this recipe.

I loved how this turned out…better than any restaurant potato soup if I say so myself, but I also had other witnesses. 😉 An easy fix for upcoming March Madness get-togethers!
