On The Last Day of School Eve…

It’s the day before the last day of school, and like many mamas it’s with mixed emotions. They have had SUCH an incredible year and I honestly wouldn’t change a thing! (Okay so in the perfect world I would have no homework.)

Overall, their teacher couldn’t have been a better match, their classmates have become their closest friends, and their school has been a phenomenal fit.

To go from getting ready to homeschool another year to enrolling them in a private school the day before the first day of school, it’s hard to believe it’s coming to a close.

It’s been so good for us (Brad and I) and for them.

It’s almost been so good that I don’t want it to end.

These boys have grown up so much this year. They’ve become better students, but better people too. They’re leaders in their classroom and instead of wanting to separate them in different classrooms, we’ve gotten tons of comments about how they are independent yet do exceptionally well together. Keeping them together is what they actually recommended for next year. (This is absolute opposite of most educational opinions to always separate multiples. I’m so thankful that our school agreed to try it out this year and look at them as individuals not as statistics.)

I’m looking forward to the BEST SUMMER EVER with these little men!  The house will be much more boisterous and rowdy with them back, but that’s what the backdoor is for. Can I get an Amen, Mamas?

Sing with me (Teachers Sing it Loudest)…

SCHOOL’S OUT FOR THE SUMMER!
