The 30 Day Giving Challenge Kick-Off

It’s November 1st, which kicks off our month long challenge to GIVE in small and big ways for God’s glory!  I’m so excited to watch our family work together, to bless others in creative ways, to step outside of my comfort zone, and to watch how God uses so many others as we come together for one purpose!

It’s been exciting watching this unfold – seeing others bloggers get on board, hearing from readers that want more ideas, watching amazing sponsors come along side to offer resources and gifts to be donated.  (Watch for the first giveaway to go live this week!)

I know when “giving” is mentioned we instantly think about our financial and scheduled responsibilities and start manufacturing a giant list of rational reasons why we can exclude ourselves.  (Humbly speaking from personal thoughts and experience.) It’s easy to choose to be stagnant.

Again what and how you give isn’t what matters.  Don’t limit the term “giving” to equal $.   Think about how you can give your own resources, time, and talents for His glory! I would encourage you to check out these organizations and research other local charities that could benefit from giving from your heart.  There so many wonderful causes in such great need this time of year.

Follow along with our team of 9 bloggers as we strive to "impact more lives, to bless more strangers, to give in a variety of ways”.

This is BY NO MEANS a competition, or a comparison game, or a way to elevate ourselves to see how much we can give.  In fact, I would encourage you to be “quiet” in your giving.  If you chose to share your personal experiences with the 30 Day Giving Challenge on your blog, or with others in your life, make sure your focus remains on the GIVER of all things – Jesus!

Journal your daily encounters and document the ways that God led you to give.  If you are committing to this month long experiment, feel free to link up your blog posts on the weekly link up on the 30 Day Giving Challenge site, and join the blogroll. You can also interact with others who are on board on the BlogFrog Community, the Facebook Page, and on Twitter.

I’d love to hear from you if you’re joining us!
