The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow…

Or at least that’s what the friendly weatherman promises….

We’ve been experiencing an unseasonably dreary chilly spring.  Ever since the boys got their play set, the clouds seemed to have settled in and created a permanent residency.  I’m not sure about how you best function, but I require sunshine fuel.

I love soaking up its warm rays after a cold winter.

I love how it makes the flowers magically appear from the ground.

I love how it forces my neighbors out of hibernation.

I love how it enables my boys to roam and entertain themselves freely.

I love how it just makes me feel more alive.

Lately, I’ve been letting the "Rainy Days and Mondays"…and Tuesdays, and Wednesdays get me down.  Word on the (email) street is that my fellow quad sistas have been having facing similar personal challenges in quad parenting. (In fact, they’ve written much more eloquently on this very topic quite recently.) I’m so grateful for their friendship come rain or shine!

Regardless of my "current conditions" or the "future outlook", I must choose contentment, thankfulness and joy.

Ecclesiastes 8:15 "And I commend joy, for man has no good thing under the sun but to eat and drink and be joyful, for this will go with him in his toil through the days of his life that God has given him under the sun."

Several days ago, we had a break in the clouds that gave way to some tropical 50 degree weather. Brad and I were able to visit a local botanical garden and witness the promise of spring.   I’ve found myself scrolling through these pictures more than once as a reminder that warmer, brighter days are only a day away!

Bet your bottom dollar!
