No. No! No?
The boys are quite fond of using the word, "No". It’s verbalized approximately 1,047 times a day in our home in a variety of contexts.
"NO! NO!" – Exclamation; Example: Telling a brother he cannot throw food on the floor. (They LOVE telling each other "No!")
"No. No." – Statement; Example: Acknowledging an understanding that they cannot touch the buttons on the television.
"No, No?" – Inquiry; Example: I still can’t stand on the couch?
They even use a finger shake or a clap to emphasize their point! (Clueless on where they could come up with such dramatics.) Santa might have to change his Ho! Ho! Ho! to a No! No! No! this Christmas.
Here’s a short clip as an illustration:
I’m just looking forward to the day when "Engh! Engh! Enngh!" is replaced with, "Mama, I need some assistance; Could you please help me with this when you have a moment?"
