Bulkin’ Up

Well, for those of you curious about weights we had our 4 month appointment on Friday and according to our pediatrician their gains are “phenomenal”.

Henry: 11lbs 4oz (2lbs 12oz at birth)
Brooks: 11lbs 14oz (3lbs at birth)
Clark: 11lbs 14 oz (3lbs 7 oz at birth) – yes, Clark finally caught up to Brooks, he’s been working hard since his hospital stay
Isaac: a whopping 14lbs (4lbs at birth) He’s unashamed of his flabby thighs. =)

The shots went alright, just low grade fevers and a bit of fussiness. We were very encouraged by our pediatrician. They are truly doing great! God is gracious!

“But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deed which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” Titus 3: 4-7

Isaac, Brooks, Henry and Clark all in their race attire in celebration last week for the Indy 500!

Brad & Jen – got your postcard in the mail. So incredibly precious! I even told my mom about it and she can’t wait to see it too. I will definitely send you guys another renewal form for the group. I’ve enjoyed catching up on you guys. It sounds like the boys are doing wonderfully. I can’t believe how big they are!!! My smallest (3 lb 5 oz) didn’t reach 20 lbs. until she was 1 1/2 years old and your boys will probably beat her!!! Good for them!!! You guys are doing wonderfully. The pictures are adorable – I don’t know HOW you tell them apart!! I know only two are identical but they all look alike to me… I’m glad you are able to smile and see the good in all the craziness. I had many smiles on my face reading about your adventures with them so far. We look forward to having you in the group again and really look forward to meeting you all in person. I’m so glad everyone is doing well. Julie Burgess

Jen, in the race picture i think Henry looks the most like you. I think i may even see a little of Matthew in him 🙂 Prob because Matthew looks so much like his daddy. Anyways, they are too cute and i can’t wait to see and squeeze them all next week. Love you!

Great news on your boy’s weights! Grayson also had his 4 mo check up this week and weighed 13 lb 3 oz. So, for their adjusted age, they are real chunks!! And, 9 hours at night! FANTASTIC!! Here’s my email address just in case you want to hear more about how you guys are leaving us in the dirt! johnharrod(at)charter(dot)net.
